(This might be the worst sprite i done.) I should have done more shading Would any of you want to learn how to sprite? Im not the most expert spriter in the world. But i am a lot better at Spriting then Drawing. First of all. open up any program that will allow you do draw a pixel. If you dont know of one open up paint. Draw a circle like that. Simple. But take your time. I drew a square thing for the eyes. It does not have corners on the square or from a far view it would look like a square. We want it to be a circle looking eye A very simple mouth. A straight line. This is a little bigger change. I put triangles on the lower side of the body. Then i shaped it out to be a little rounder. TIME FOR COLORING! I colored the eyes like so. The dark part of the eyes are not completely black. If they were, the eyes would be way way to dark. Base Color. Shadows. The lights source is usually at the top in sprites. The only thing different is the outline. I made the outline a dark dark color of the base color. This just gives it a smoother feel. Tada!

I started to draw a sprite, honest. I openned MS Paint, I drew my circle but then my mind trailed off and I thought about smething Lotte said earlier about someone burning a food product that should be impossible to burn. Then I thought of ways in which they burnt it and, well.

What's he/she/it burning? It looks like a square cigarette, or a chip covered in lard

actaully fitzy yours is a good example of a sprite and yeah danos is a bit big its mroe of a pixel art work thingy... and sprites dont have to be small to be editable they can be huge and still be editable... what do you think are in video games? those things the "chaacters" you see are sprites... well a form of sprites taken in a higher more awsome def... harder to edit if you ask me... so much more detail and all...

Erm, my picture isn't to be taken seriously. The "square cigarette" is a lighter, unless fire comes in cans where you live?
